Was wondering has anyone brought some of the whisky with cobra inside through customs to Australia?

I took a similar bottle from Laos to the UK last year and declared it at both check in, in Laos (at the x-ray machine) and again at UK customs.

At the Laos end it was fine, and at the UK end (equally if not more strict than Aussie) they commented that whilst it was not unusual, they agreed the alcohol would have killed anything harmful , and let it through.

One thing to be aware of though is that some (but not all)species of cobra sold in these bottles are on the CITES list-endangered, and therefore you should not buy them.
