Helen-
That%26#39;s a fair amount of money to be spending on flights.
You can take a bus from PP-SR for $10 or so. You can also take the bus to Luang Prabang, and break up the journey with a night in Vang Vieng. Bus travel is a good way to see the sights, and the trip up to LP is especially beautiful. Just a thought...

Agreed, but getting my husband on a bus.....????? I%26#39;m doing well to even hae him consider bus from SR to Battambang!(there are no options that include aircraft here!)
time was also a bit of an issue. Are now thinking that Laos may be a trip on its own another time - more time in Cambodia.
Still looking at options
Helen
The buses in Cambodia would surprise you! VERY comfy seats (unless you%26#39;re tall!), A/C, a toilet, and they pass out bread/pastries and a bottle of water in the morning!
