How easy is it to book a flight last minute from Vientiane to Phnom Penh, for example the day before or even the day of the flight? Or would it be better to book the flight in advance? Thank you

Depending on the season, some flights may be booked up for a few weeks, so book ahead it it%26#39;ll be during Pi Mai or other festival times, plus December through February. Otherwise, you will probably be able to get a seat if you book a a few days in advance or so. I believe there%26#39;s only that one daily flight (10:00am?) from VTE-PP, so if it fills up, you%26#39;ll have to wait another day or so...

Which airline flies between these two locations? We will be there at the beginning of July, would there be any festivals on at this time of year? Thank you
Vietnam Air and Lao Aviation both have direct flights - prices are about 150-190 USD + taxes.
There is actually only one flight although it is code shared by the 2 airlines (vietnam and lao and uses a vietnam airlines plane on its way from hanoi-vientiane-phom penh-saigon)
