Does anyone know how to go about getting a 30 day Laos Visa? I am from the USA and was wondering the cheapest way to get one. I read that you can buy at the border in Laos for a fraction of the original price instead of getting it at the consulate for $90. Is this true? Around how much did your visa cost? Thanks in advance =)!

Yes for some reason getting a visa ahead of time is much more expensive ,just bring 2 passport photos and $35-37, if you have thai baht its 1500 bt, fill out the entry card if you don%26#39;t have a hotel just pick one to put on the form, depending when you go thru the border crossing 15- 60 minutes, just depends on how many people are there at the same time or how many people on the plane
