was wondering what the easy wayt to get from laos? to hanoi is the a bus? or what airline should i take

You can fly 3-4 times per week with Lao/Vietnam airlines (code share - $220 rtn in 2008) or bus for about $20. Probably easiest to fly if you are in a hurry.

you can take bus from Vientiane to Hanoi. It takes 24 hours. You can also fly via Lao or Vietnam airlines.

As Blue says, the Lao and the Vietnam Airlines flight are the same. The bus trip is horrible.
