River levels and smoke in late May

Hi all

we have tentatively booked a trip down the Mekong on the Luang Say with Asian Oasis for about a months time at the end of May. This is their last trip of the season, before they close for a month for %26#39;maintenance%26#39;. My question before we pay for this is (coz it%26#39;s not cheap!) will the river levels be too low, and will we be smoked out by the burning, or will it be raining by then?

I know there%26#39;s been some posts on this in the past, but how are things looking there now?
