Been trying to contact the Maly Hotel in Phonsavan to reserve a room but am getting no response. Im using the email address on their website which is sousathp@laotel.com is this the correct one?

hi- email is pretty bad in phonsavanh and they probably don%26#39;t check that often anyway. Better to call or just turn up without a reservation - I%26#39;ve stayed in Phonsavanh on about a dozen separate occasions and there is never an accomodation shortage in the Maly price range

They were good about replying to my mails when I stayed there 2 years ago, but caveat emptor- the place gets very cold during the winter months and they do not have heating NOR do they have hot water (although they advertise it and it comes out only for the first minute you are in the shower). I froze my a$$ off there (as did 3 other groups of folks I met who stayed there) even though I had mountain climbing innerwear and fleece. The food was bad, too. Good restaurants for half that price in town.
